[Nezumi knows that that world visiting thing is going to come up soon and he's pretty unsure about it. Even if it's only for a day, he doesn't trust what the Malnosso are going to do. There's a reason he didn't offer to try it out.
But he figures it's time to finally start snooping this place out more. Go into the cracks he can't reach himself.]
Is there anybody who's good with machinery here? I'm talking about robots and cameras. That sort of deal. I want to discuss something.
[He wonders if he should say something else about this whole visiting another world idea, but he doesn't and only cuts off his feed.]

So, what you desire is a method of spying without the risk of harm or consequence unto yourself.

[You? Dist doesn't care nearly as much.]
[Voice]
Of course. You must treat an artist's creations with respect, right?
[Voice]
If you're truly serious in your proposal, I can share with you in person a few past ideas and drawings - schematics - of the fonbots I've created. Past and...possible future.
[Voice]
That does sound interesting, though. [He's not too into robotics. They're just useful, but so is this person.] If you wouldn't mind sharing. Oh, and explaining what a fonbot is. Afraid they don't have those in my world.
[Voice]
[The size of a mouse? Simple enough. Dist could actually pull that off relatively easily if he has the time necessary to do it. Making them functional, efficient, and durable would be the real challenge, though. Oh, and wiring the camera into them...and having it transmit the image signal to a possible receiver. He could probably pull off the design and prototype, but the final product would take a bit pf time.]
Depending on the time-frame necessary - these things do take time to create, test, and finalize, you understand - I could very well achieve what you're supposedly looking for. Unfortunately, I also have my hands full with other...projects, you see, but I will do my best.
As for a fonbot, it's a fonic robot - my area of expertise. A machine powered by my planet's source of "fuel", I suppose. Elemental particles that support its power and basic core functions. That power source, however, is....limited here, but I've enough experience and expertise to make them. It just takes me longer...much to my dismay...
[Voice]
Hmm. Sounds like much of the machinery we have back in my world. Or what we used to have, I should say. What do your fonpots do?
[Voice]
[Dist shrugs at the next question, waving his hand lazily.] Actual fonbots are mainly used for weapons and guarding properties and items. Fonmachines, which I also specialize in, do an array of things - from lighting, heating, to being constructed into landships, freight carriers, and airships.
[Voice]
[Okay, now that actually sounds extremely useful.] They can truly do all of that? Where I come from we do have machinery to do many of those things. Or well, in the richer area. To be expected. But we've never used anything like that for weapons.
[Voice]
I've actually managed to construct a working weapon for myself here, to be perfectly honest. It works astonishingly, given the severe lack of fonons to construct into usable ammunition. It's heavier than I would have liked, and took far more time to create than necessary if the general power source were readily available, but there's little to be said and done now.
Rest at ease, I've done enough work and research to overcome the problem to a large scale. I'll get your project done.
